The petitioner has filed this Contempt Petition alleging that the order of this Court dated 05.04.2017 passed in WMP.No.7294 of 2017 in WP.No.6742 of 2017 has been disobeyed by the respondent. http://www.judis.nic.in

2. However, today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the respondent produced a communication dated 01.09.2017 received from the Inspector of Police, Avinashi Police Station, Tiruppur District, stating that the matter has been settled between the parties. Learned counsel has also produced a copy of the affidavit of Undertaking signed by all the parties, to that effect.

3. In view of the above, this Court feels that nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, recording the same, the contempt petition stands closed.
