ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under sections 3(a) r/w 4 of POCSO Act, in Crime No.16 of 2021 seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is a married man. It is alleged that petitioner on the pretext of marrying the victim minor girl aged about 17 years, he developed love affair with her and performed sexual intercourse with her. Hence, the defacto complainant lodged a complaint before the Law Enforcing Agency. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is no way connected with the occurrence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is ready to perform marriage with the victim girl, when she attains majority. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that investigation is at initial stage. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner.

5.Considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
