ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to register and investigate the complaint in CSR No.526 of 2014 and file a final report forthwith on the file of the respondent, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 3.It appears that the dispute is between the Builder and the petitioner. It is also seen in the complaint that the Builder has given some cheques in the year 2013 and 2014 and the same were dishonoured.

4.Further, as per the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Sakiri Vasu v. State of U.P., (2008 AIR SCW 309) which was followed by a learned single Judge of this Court in A.Sowfila v. The Commissioner of Police, Madurai and 2 others (2008(2) L.W (Crl.) 843), the petitioner herein has got alternative remedy. When such an alternative remedy is available to the petitioner, he can work out the same in the manner known to law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the above, Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
