Petition seeking bail in respect of Crime No.511 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 397, 385, 427, 336 and 506(2) IPC, is on board for consideration.

2. When the matter was taken up today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner was earlier granted bail by the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore. However, since the petitioner did not comply with the conditions, the learned Metropolitan Magistrate had cancelled the bail vide order dated 05.11.2024 in Crl.M.P.No.57426 of 2024.

2. Taking into account the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is of the view that the petitioner has to challenge the order of cancellation of bail by the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore before the appropriate forum instead of seeking bail before this Court.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed with liberty to challenge the order of cancellation of bail by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate.
