This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to provide necessary police protection to petitioner life and his property in accordance with law. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that earlier on the complaint of the petitioner's wife FIR in Crime No.289 of 2021 came to be registered on 24.12.2021 for offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. There is a civil dispute between the petitioner and his brother Prakash and a wordy quarrel aroused between them. The dispute is between https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the brothers with regard to the sharing and enjoyment of the inherent property. For the above said civil dispute, the respondent police cannot interfered. The respondent police advised the petitioner's wife that they would approach the civil court and confer their rights 3.Considering the submissions and on perusal of the materials, this Court finds that it is a dispute between the family members. As regards the protection to the property no order is required. With regard to the protection of life, the respondent police is directed to take necessary steps, when any complaint is received.

4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
