C.S. No.1362 of 1991 P.B.BALAJI, J., The learned counsel for the plaintiff brings to my notice that the above suit has to be transferred to the City Civil Court on account of enhancement of pecuniary jurisdiction of the City Civil Court. From the plaint, I find that the suit has been valued for a sum of Rs.2,64,000/- and necessarily, the suit has to go before the City Civil Court.

2. The Registry is directed to transfer the suit papers to the file of the City Civil Court, Chennai and on re-numbering the same, the Registry of the City Civil Court shall issue summons to the defendants, intimating them about the suit being renumbered as well as the hearing date along with the Court to which the suit has been transferred.
