Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the 2nd respondent's reply V.T.U.T.Na.Ka.No.7133/2019, dated 05.12.2019 and quash the same, consequently direct the third respondent to reserve 3% of petitioner's community quota in 18% Reservation Quota of Schedule Caste in the election process either in the General or in the Ward Election.

(Order of the Court is made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.Srinivasan, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Ms.N.Varalakshmi, learned Counsel for the petitioner; Mr.K.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for the respondent Nos.1, 3 and 4 and Mr.A.Arun Babu, learned Counsel for the second respondent. 2/5
2. Mr.S.Srinivasan, learned Counsel submits that the learned Counsel for the petitioner, Chidambaram Manthiram Pillai, is no more.
3. The petitioner seeks directions to provide 3% reservation to the petitioner's community quota in the reservation made for Scheduled Caste in the election process.
4. The relief claimed cannot be considered by this Court. The petitioner will have to collect empirical data and would be required to move the National Commission for Scheduled Castes.
5. In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.175 of 2020 is closed.
