The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and one Sivakumar under the guise of enquiry.

The case of the petitioner is that under the pretext of conducting an enquiry in connection with the existing civil dispute, the respondent police are unnecessarily harassing him and Sivakumar. 3.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that the petitioner is suspected as accused in Crime No.11 of 2025, for the offences under Sections 420, 468 & 471 IPC and hence he is required for the purpose of investigation and that he was called only for enquiry and was not harassed during the enquiry. 4.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
