In a proposed suit seeking declaratory and injunctive relief, the intending plaintiff seeks leave to sue respondents 6 to 8 before this Court. Learned counsel submits that respondents 1 to 5 carry on business within the jurisdiction of this Court and that the cause of action for the suit arose within the jurisdiction of this Court.

2. Upon examining the draft plaint and on considering the submissions of learned counsel, at least a part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Consequently, A.No.132 of 2023 is allowed by granting leave to the applicant to sue respondents 6 to 8 before this Court. As a corollary, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if otherwise in order.
