O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2017 within a stipulated time frame.

2.Heard Mr.M.Gnanasekar, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr.J.Kumaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.The petitioner while serving as Depot Manager bearing code No.1055 was permitted to retire from service by an order dated 31.05.2017 passed by the Managing Director of Puducherry Agro Service and Industries Corporation Ltd. It is the claim of the petitioner that till date, the respondent has not come forward https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to disburse his retirement benefits, in spite of his representation dated 17.03.2017 followed by a legal notice dated 25.09.2017. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.Mr.M.Gnanasekar, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondent may be directed to disburse the retirement benefits to the petitioner within a stipulated time frame.

5.In the light of the order dated 31.05.2017 passed by the respondent permitting the petitioner to retire from service putting on notice, this Court directs the respondent to disburse the retirement benefits of the petitioner which he is legally entitled, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
