C.M.P.No.2140 of 2024 in C.M.A.Sr.No.164522 of 2023 N.ANAND VENKATESH , J Notice has been served on the 1st and 3rd respondents and the names have also been printed in the cause list. The 2nd respondent is represented through a counsel.

2.This Civil Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 569 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the Appellant and perused the records.

4.Having satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the delay of 569 days is condoned.

5.Registry is directed to number the main Civil miscellaneous appeal and list the same for admission. Registry is directed to print the name of Mr.J.Michael Visuvasam, learned counsel for the 2nd respondent at the time of admission.

6.It is made clear that for the period of delay of 569 days, the appellant will not be entitled for any interest if in the event of this Court enhancing the amount of compensation fixed by the Tribunal.
