Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of declaration declaring the list of candidates published on 02.04.2018 by the second respondent in respect of the election to the second respondent society as null and void and consequentially direct the second respondent to include the nominations received as per the acknowledgement dated 31.03.2018 in the valid candidates' list and conduct the election for the Board of Directors of the second respondent Society without rejection of any nominations.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that in response to the direction given by this Court on 05.04.2018, election has been cancelled by order dated 06.04.2018 in Na.Ka.No.1413/2018/T.nj.1 (15). 2.In view of cancellation of election to the Co-operative Society, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
