Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.
2.Pursuant to the acquisition initiated against the land purchased by the petitioner on 27.11.2008, in the year 2009, the petitioner made a request for requisite compensation. In the last reply sent to the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, he was informed that action is being taken to make the compensation. On receipt of the said reply dated 16.11.2016, the petitioner made another representation on 22.01.2017 to the second respondent for early payment of compensation due to him. Since the earlier representations made on 12.10.2015, 11.01.2016, 08.02.2016 and the last one dated 22.01.2017 are still pending consideration, the present writ petition has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
filed seeking action on the said representations from the hands of the second respondent.
3.Taking into consideration the communication sent to the petitioner under the Right to Information Act in Na.Ka.No.1935/2016/F2 dated 16.11.2016 coupled with the fact that the representations of the petitioner including the one dated 22.01.2017 are still pending consideration, a direction is issued to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the aforesaid representations as well as the last one dated 22.01.2017 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
