ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for an early disposal of his appeal dated 25.04.2024 pending on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. Aggrieved by the order of the 2nd respondent, the petitioner had filed the statutory appeal before the 1st respondent on 25.04.2024. Since the said appeal has not been disposed of, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is passed against the 3rd respondent, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with in this writ petition.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal, dated 25.04.2024 preferred by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, after hearing the objections of the 3rd respondent and by adhering to the principles of natural justice.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal dated 25.04.2024.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 25.04.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the objections of the 3rd respondent and by adhering to the principles of natural justice.

7. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
