ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent police to expedite the investigation of the case in Crime No.9 of 1/4

2020 and to file a final report.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the 1st respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 13.07.2020, no final report is filed till date. 4.The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the 1st respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be direction to the 1st respondent to conduct investigation and complete the same and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant. 2/4

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
