ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to furnish the documents pertaining to the patta in TD 2 of 1806 and TD 1167 of 1865 obtained by the petitioner predecessor in interest of Mr.Kanmiyan obtained by grant from Rani Mangammal and 5th and 6th respondent to transfer the patta in his name according to law.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the revenue records in respect of the subject lands stand in the name of private persons, which cannot be interfered with. If the petitioner has any grievance, he has to approach the competent civil Court and filing the present writ petition is not maintainable.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. As rightly submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed as the revenue records stand in the name of unknown persons in respect of the subject properties. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 12.09.2024 rli To
