Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.84 of 2018 dated 04.04.2018, which is pending with the third respondent to C.B.C.I.D. Or any other independent Investigation Agency and file final report within the stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.84 of 2018 dated 04.04.2018, which is pending with the third respondent to C.B.C.I.D. or any other independent Investigation Agency and to file final report within a stipulated time.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though this writ petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation from the third respondent to C.B.C.I.D any other agency, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the third respondent to conclude the investigation and to file final report within a reasonable time frame.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, submitted that the investigation will be completed and final report will be filed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.In view of the above, this Court directs the third respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.84 of 2018 and to file final report, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
