The present Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.11.2025 and take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 10.11.2025.
Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 & 2. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Notice to respondents 3 & 4 is dispensed with inasmuch as no order prejudicial to their interest is passed. 4.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, a septuagenarian and the Secretary of the State Transport & Transport Corporation Retired Employees Welfare Association, lodged a complaint dated 10.11.2025 before the first respondent against the private respondents, alleging that they had misappropriated the funds of his Association to the tune of Rs.8,50,000/-. He further submitted that since there was no progress on the petitioner's complaint, he once again sent a representation dated 28.11.2025 to the second respondent, seeking 2/5
appropriate action. However, as no action has been taken on the petitioner's representation, the present petition has been filed. 5.
Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), appearing for respondents 1 & 2, submitted that the complaint of the petitioner dated 10.11.2025, followed by the representation dated 28.11.2025 were received by the first respondent and that due enquiry would be conducted and the representation would be disposed of in accordance with law. 6.
In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent police to complete the enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2025, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 30.01.2026 ham 3/5
