This application has been filed seeking to amend the existing prayer to a writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to send the proposals to the first respondent relating to the promotion of the petitioner as PG Assistant in Tamil in the third respondent school.

2. The writ petition had been initially filed seeking approval of the petitioner in the promoted post as PG Assistant. The relief now sought is to grant approval to the petitioner in the promoted post of PG Assistant by granting notional seniority with effect from 02.06.2014. Since all the issues relate to the service of the petitioner, this Petition stands allowed.

3. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment relating to the relief sought in the Writ Petition.
