This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the the FIR No.80 of 2013 under Section 174 Cr.P.C. on the file of the 2nd respondent herein to the CBCID and other records.
2. It is seen that the investigation in Crime No.80 of 2013 is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police. Now, almost six years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.
3. However, considering that the crime is of the year 2013, the 2nd respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.80 of 2013 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
