Advocate (Crl. Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 506(ii), 273 of IPC , 7, 20(1) of Cigarette and Tobacco products Act 2003 and 58, 59 of Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 in Cr.No.600 of 2021, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners along with other accused persons illegally transported 6,500 kilograms of contraband Tobacco products which is worth about Rs.7,00,000/- by using Eicher container bearing registration No. TN 22 DF 4856. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are an innocent persons and they have not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioners.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) raised objection stating that Petitioners are transported 6,500 kilograms of contraband tobacco products and its worth about Rs.7,00,000/-.

5. On seeing the huge quantity of the tobacco products, which needs detailed investigation, this Court is not inclined grant bail to the petitioners.
