Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the proceedings pending before the X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai in C.C.No.959 of 2015 has been dismissed by the Court below for default on 19.11.2019 and hence, the prayer as sought in the Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous.

2. In the light of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
