Application No.30 of 2023 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J In a proposed suit for relief in respect of alleged defamatory posts on the linkedin platform, the intending plaintiff seeks leave to sue the respondents before this Court.

2. It is submitted that the posts are accessible and were accessed within the jurisdiction of this Court and that messages were exchanged by and between the third respondent and a senior executive of the applicant within the jurisdiction of this Court.

3. Upon examining the draft plaint and considering the above submissions, it appears that at least a part of the cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of this Court. Consequently, the applicant is granted leave to sue the respondents before this Court. As a corollary, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if otherwise in order. If the interim application presented with the suit is in order, the Registry is directed to list the same for admission on 04.01.2023.
