O R D E R

The present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking extension of the time granted to comply with the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.33043 of 2025 on 03.12.2025.

The submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner are as follows:- 2.1. The petitioner is one of the accused in Crime No.708 of 2024 registered on the file of the second respondent for the offences under Sections 3(1)(k), 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2) of the SC/ST (PoA) (Amendment) Act r/w Sections 296(b), 115(2) and 351(3) of the BNS. 2.2. This Court, while allowing the petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.33043 of 2025 seeking to consider his bail application on the same day of his surrender, vide order dated 03.12.2025, directed the petitioner to surrender before the jurisdictional Court within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. 2.3. The order copy was made ready on 11.12.2025. However, due to the non-availability of the Advocate, the petitioner was unable to surrender before the Court concerned, which is neither willful nor wanton. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the condition.

Having heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and considering the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court is inclined to extend the time for complying with the 2/4

directions issued by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.33043 of 2025, vide order dated 03.12.2025.

Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered. The time for complying with the order dated 03.12.2025 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.33043 of 2025, is hereby extended by a further period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted to the petitioner 20.01.2026 ham To 1.
