Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 5 to give job under the compassionate appointment ground to the petitioner's son basis of the petitioners representation dated 30.09.2023 and pass such further orders.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents 3 and 5 to consider the application dated 30.09.2023 submitted by the petitioner for appointment of his son on compassionate ground.

3. The petitioner's husband was working as constable and he died during the course of his duty. At the time of demise of the petitioner's husband, the petitioner is not qualified with any studies and his daughter and son were minors. Therefore, she could not made any application for seeking compassionate appointment. Only after attaining age of majority by her son, now applied for constable job on compassionate ground.
4. Admittedly, the petitioner did not apply for any constable job within a period of three years. Now after completion of 14 years, the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered for compassionate appointment. Hence, this writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed.
