PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Declaration declaring that the entire land acquisition proceedings initiated under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 in respect to the lands of an extent of 0.08.5 hectares comprised in S.No.10/1, an extent of 0.11.5 hectares in S.No.10/2, an extent of 0.08.5 hectares in S.No.10/3, an extent of 0.07.5 hectares in S.No.10/4, an extent of 0.07.5 hectares in S.No.10/5, an extent of 0.07.5 hectares in S.No.10/6 and an extent of 0.11.0 hectares in S.No.10/7, in all totalling to an extent of 0.62.0 Hectares situated at Ninnakarai Village, Chengalpet Taluk, Kancheepuram District belonging to the petitioners as lapsed in view of the Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
