This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for records and quash the FIR in Crime No.18/2022 pending investigation on the file of The Inspector of Police, Pallikaranai - TIW, Tambaram, City, TIWPS.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner claims that the petitioner Aakshay Karthikeyan had not driven the vehicle but his brother had driven the vehicle. In this regard said Aakshay Karthikeyan has given a letter.

3. When this Court expressed that this claim cannot be accepted for the reason that, there is a letter given by petitioner's mother and statement of eye witness one Vijay Kumar that vehicle bearing TN-07-BQ-4747 was indeed driven by Aakshay Karthikeyan. Learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court for withdrawal of this petition. 2/4
