ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to survey the property in New Survey No.468/23, Old Survey No.55/1 which is situated at Panapakkam Village, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District based on the representations dated 20.08.2022 and 10.10.2022 within a stipulated time.

2. In order to survey the land of the petitioner situated at Panapakkam Village, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District comprised in New Survey No.468/23, Old Survey No.55/1, the petitioner had given an application on 10.10.2022 to the first respondent Tahsildar and the petitioner also claim that he has paid the necessary fee to that effect. Therefore to consider the said application submitted by the petitioner and to do the needful for surveying the land of the petitioner, he has moved the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard Mr.R.Muruga Bharath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who having reiterated the aforesaid would seek indulgence of this Court.

4. Heard Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate 2/4

appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner dated 10.10.2022 along with a fee already been paid would be considered and the needful would be undertaken by the respondents within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein and having regard to the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the first respondent Tahsildar to consider the application of the petitioner dated 10.10.2022 and do the needful, if the petitioner already paid the fee, otherwise after receipt of the fee, the needful would be undertaken by the first respondent within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
