This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent Police to register the complaint dated 25.05.2015, given by the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he had given Rs.3,00,000/- to the opposite parties on 22.12.2014 for business purpose, and that the opposite parties are not returning the amount, and that they are also not doing any iron scrap business.
4. The complaint essentially appears to be civil in nature and hence, no positive direction can be given to the respondent-Police to register an FIR.

With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
