Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd Respondent to dispose of the proceedings pending on the file of the 3rd Respondent in Na. Ka.A7/5417/2022, seeking for cancellation of patta pertaining to S.No.371/2 in Patta No.865, standing in the name of Madanasamy, father of the Respondents 9 to 11 and to cancel the patta pertaining to S.Nos. 371/1F2 in Patta No.912, S.No.371/1F3 in Patta No.913 and S.No.371/1F4 in Patta No.914 of Renganathapuram Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District, standing in the name of Respondents 6 to 8 respectively and consequentially direct the 4th Respondent to issue patta in favor of the petitioners pertaining to S.Nos.

371/1F2, 371/1F3 and 371/1F4 to an extent of 0.90 Acres and to issue patta in favour of the Respondents 6 to 8 pertaining to S.No.371/2 to an extent of 0.30 Acres each, within the time as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd Respondent to dispose of the proceedings pending on the file of the 3rd Respondent in Na.Ka.A7/5417/2022, seeking for cancellation of patta pertaining to S.No.371/2 in Patta No.865, standing in the name of Madanasamy, father of the Respondents 9 to 11 and to cancel the patta pertaining to S.Nos. 371/1F2 in Patta No.912, S.No.371/1F3 in Patta No.913 and S.No.371/1F4 in Patta No.914 of Renganathapuram Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District, standing in the name of Respondents 6 to 8 respectively and consequentially direct the 4th Respondent to issue patta in favor of the petitioners pertaining to S.Nos.371/1F2, 371/1F3 and 371/1F4 to an extent of 0.90 Acres and to issue patta in favour of the Respondents 6 to 8 pertaining to S.No.371/2 to an extent of 0.30 Acres each, within the time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.B.Kumar, learned Senior Advocate produced the Additional Typed Set of Papers and a perusal of the same shows that the 3rd respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.A7/5417/2023 has already passed order on 07.12.2023 in respect of 3/6

the subject matter. Therefore, nothing survives in this petition. If the petitioners are aggrieved by the order of the 3rd respondent, they shall work out their remedy in the manner law.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
