This writ petition was filed challenging the addition of the names of 2nd and 3rd respondents in the patta with respect to the subject properties.

2.The 1st respondent has filed a counter affidavit and para

4 of the counter affidavit is extracted hereunder: 4.It is further submitted that the 1st respondent never issued patta in favour of the respondents 1 & 2 and also taken any steps to mutate in the Revenue Records in favour of the 2nd and 3rd respondents for the land measuring to an extent of 14.60 acres or thereabouts in Survey Nos.134 135, 136/2, 136/3, 136/14, 136/5 & 137/1 (R.S.Nos.279/1, 279/2, 279/3, 283/1, 283/2, 283/3A) in Yedapalli Village, Coonoor Taluk, Nilgiris and comprised in Patta Nos.364, 1274, 1427 & 1826 as alleged by the petitioner. Hence, the averments of the petitioner are utterly false.

It is pertinent to submit that in the Revenue Records the Patta Nos.364, 1274, 1427 & 1826 are stands in the name of the petitioner is as follows:

Ravikumar Ajjan (petitioner) The above said table is clearly stated the above said existing Patta Nos.364, 1274, 1427 & 1826 issued for the land measuring to an extent of 14.60 acres or thereabouts in Survey Nos.134 135, 136/2, 136/3, 136/14, 136/5 & 137/1 (R.S.Nos.279/1, 279/2, 279/3, 283/1, 283/2, 283/3A) in Yedapalli Village, Coonoor Taluk, Nilgiris stands in the name of the Petitioner. Therefore, the Writ Petition is become infructuous and in the interest of justice it is just and necessary that this Hon'ble Court may pleased to dismiss the writ petition as devoid of merits.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader also produced the copy of the pattas issued in the name of the petitioner. 4.Except recording the stand taken by the 1st respondent in para 4 of the counter affidavit, wherein pattas have been issued in the exclusive name of the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.

5.In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed off. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
