O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner for committing wilful disobedience of the order passed by this court dated dated 17.10.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.24963 of 2022.

2. On 17.10.2022, this Court has issued a direction in Crl.O.P.No.24963 of 2022 to the respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, R7 K.K.Nagar Police Station, K.K.Nagar, Chennai 600 083 to register the FIR on the complaint filed by the petitioner, otherwise close the complaint within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) submitted that in view of the direction issued by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.24963 of 2022, the respondent police, after conducting enquiry, found that the petitioner's complaint has been given in counter to the complaint filed by one Chitra in STC/PC/7526/2022 against the petitioner before Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC II, Allikulam and the

complaint lodged by the petitioner is not a genuine one. Hence, the complaint of the petitioner is closed as no prima facie case made out. In this regard, a closure report has also been filed before the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet on 20.01.2023 by the respondent police and a copy of the same has been produced before the court.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) this Contempt Petition is closed.
