O R D E R

Earlier, this Court by an order dated 25.06.2021 in W.P.No.12647 of 2021 directed the 1st respondent Revenue Divisional Officer therein to consider the objection/representations of the petitioner along with the supporting documents for enhancement of compensation on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate award within a period of twelve weeks. Alleging that the order has not been complied with within a stipulated period, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Ravikumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondent submitted that, in pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the respondent Revenue Divisional Officer passed an order dated 07.04.2022 on the petitioner's representation and also produced the copy of the order. Hence, this Contempt Petition may be closed.

3. Considering the fact that the order passed by this court has been complied with, no further adjudication is required in this Contempt Petition. 2/3

Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the order if he so advised.
