ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by Mr.K.KUMARESH BABU.,J.) Heard K.Subbu Ranga Bharathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

2. The challenge in the Writ Petition is to an order passed by the Tribunal, wherein the Tribunal had directed the petitioners to refix the second respondent's basic pension, as indicated in the Office Memorandum, dated 28.01.2013, with all consequential benefits including the arrears accrued for payment to the second respondent by issuing a fresh Pension Order, within a period of three months, failing which the said amount would carry an interest at the rate of 9 % per annum.

3. In an identical case, we in W.P.No.1337 of 2024, had con­ Page No.2/4

firmed the order of the Tribunal. In the present case also, the Tribunal had placed reliance upon the various earlier orders passed by the various Administrative Tribunals as confirmed by the respective High Courts. In such view of the matter, we do not find any merits in this Writ Petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, the time granted by the Tribunal is extended for a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, there shall be no or­ der as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. (R.S.K.,J.)
