COMMON ORDER These Writ Petition have been filed to direct the first and second Padal on 17.01.2023 and 03.02.2023 at 06:00 pm to 11:00 pm at "Sri Mariamman Temple Festival" Kariyampatti Village, Sathiyanathapuram Post, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District and "Sri Kariya Kaliamman Temple Kundam & Car festival" Korakattupudhur Village, Kadukkampalayam Post, Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District respectively, by consider and pass orders on the representation dated 27.12.2022 made by the petitioners within the time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in order to conduct cultural programme on 17.01.2023 and 03.02.2023 at 06:00 pm to 11:00 pm at "Sri Mariamman Temple Festival" Kariyampatti Village, Sathiyanathapuram Post, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District and "Sri Kariya Kaliamman Temple Kundam & Car festival" Korakattupudhur Village, Kadukkampalayam Post, Gobichettipalayam
Taluk, Erode District respectively the petitioners have sent representations, dated 27.12.2022 to the second respondent. But, the same have not been considered so far. Hence, the present writ petitions have been filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent police has received the representations of the petitioners and the same are pending for consideration.
4. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent police.
5. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, had issued a circular memorandum in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019, along with instructions to the Inspectors of Police throughout Tamil Nadu for consideration of applications seeking permission for conducting cultural programme. Therefore, in view of the detailed circular and guidelines issued by the
Director General of Police, the second respondent police is hereby directed to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 27.12.2022 and pass suitable orders based on the above said circular.
6. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
