ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY J.,] The petitioner, who is the father of the detenue, viz.,Ms.K.Sowmiya, has filed the above petition seeking for the custody of the minor detenue.

2. On notice, the 1st respondent produced the minor detenue Ms.K.Sowmiya before this court today.

3. We enquired the minor detenue Miss.Ms.K.Sowmiya and she has stated that her date of birth is 10.05.1999 and that she wants to go along with the petitioner, who is her father.

4. Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a case has been registered and the detenue was produced before the Judicial Magistrate, Tittakudi on 15.5.2015.

5. Since the detenue is a minor and that she wants to go along with her father, who is the petitioner herein, we hand over the custody of the minor detenue to the petitioner's father viz., S.Kumar.

6. In the light of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of.
