ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY J.,] The petitioner, who is the father of the detenue, viz.,M.Keerthana, has filed the above petition seeking for the custody of the minor detenue.

2. According to the petitioner, the 2nd respondent has abducted her daughter and that she is in his custody.

3. On notice, the 1st respondent produced the minor detenue M.Keerthana before this court today.

4. We enquired the minor detenue Miss.M.Keerthana and she has stated that she was with the second respondent and that the 1st respondent has secured her custody from the 2nd respondent. Further, she has stated that she wants to go along with the petitioner, who is her father.

5. Recording the statement made by the detenue, we hand over the custody of the minor detenue to the petitioner's father viz., Madhivanan.

6. In the light of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of. It is open to the 1st respondent to initiate appropriate action as per law as against the 2nd respondent. Sd/- Assistant Registrar/Vacation Officer //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar Rj/Ga To
