O R D E R

(Order of the Court made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for R1 and R2. 2.This petition has been filed by the petitioner/sister of the detenue, S.Arul Subha, sister of S.AJayanthi, aged about 24 years, directing the respondents to cause production of her sister/the detenue, before this Court and to set her at liberty. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The detenue S.Arul Subha, daughter of Subramanian is secured and produced before this Court by the respondent police. On enquiry, the detenue told us that she is a major aged about 24 years and she is residing separately. According to her, there is no illegal detention of her by third respondent or by any another person. 4.Recording the statement made by the detenue to the effect that there is no illegal detention, we are of the view that this petition could be closed as nothing further remains to be considered in this petition.

5.Accordingly, this petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum seeking remedy, according to law.
