Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondent/Police to register the complaint of the petitioner, dated 07.01.2015, and to investigate the same and file final report before the appropriate court in accordance with law within the time, as stipulated by this Court.

This Criminal Original Petition is filed, seeking direction upon the respondent/Police to register the complaint of the petitioner, dated 07.01.2015, and to investigate the same in accordance with law and file final report within the time, as stipulated by this Court. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State. 3.

It is seen that on the complaint given by the petitioner's daughter, two cases were registered by the respondent/Police against five accused, wherein, investigation was completed and final reports have also been filed. Now, the accused involved in those two cases are menacing the petitioner to withdraw the cases, which were filed at the instance of the petitioner's daughter. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In the abovesaid circumstances of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent/Police to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner, and take further action in accordance with law by registering a crime, if any cognizable offence is made out, by following the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in re Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others reported in [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate with the respondent/Police for the purpose of conducting investigation.
