This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein not to harass the petitioners, without due process of law.

2.The matter relates to a property dispute. The learned counsel for the petitioners submit that on a complaint given by one Vellaiyammal, the respondent police are trying to adjudicate the civil dispute between the parties by way of threatening the petitioners.

3.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents and submits that the presence of the petitioners is required by the respondent police for completion of enquiry.

4.The above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded and the petitioners are directed to appear before the first respondent on 17.04.2017 for enquiry. On such appearance, necessary enquiry be conducted by the first respondent on that day and further proceedings shall go on. 5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
