PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent in D.O.No.109/2022-C2 dated 28.11.2022 on the file of 2nd respondent and quash the same, consequently directing the respondents to produce the detenu namely, the petitioner's son viz., SURYA, aged about 22 years detained in the Central Prison, Salem.

[Order of the Court was made by M.SUNDAR, J.] Mr.E.Sathiyaraj, learned counsel on record for petitioner and Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned Additional Public Prosecutor are before us. 2.Learned counsel on both sides submit that the impugned preventive detention order has since been revoked (Advisory Board) vide proceedings dated 11.01.2023 bearing reference G.O.Rt.No.225, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department.

3.In the light of the undisputed position, common submission is made that nothing survives in the captioned habeas corpus petition. 2/4
