2. The applicants/defendants state that the documents sought to be produced are relevant and material for the defence of the defendants. It is further stated that these documents could not be filed along with the written statement, and that the necessity for these documents has arisen in view of the oral evidence adduced by the plaintiff.

3. The plaintiff submits that the said documents may be received subject to objections with regard to relevance and proof.

4. Upon considering the above submissions and on examining the documents proposed to be brought on record by the defendants, the applicants have established reasonable cause for producing the documents at this juncture. Therefore, the defendants are permitted to produce these documents subject to the objections of the plaintiff. Accordingly, this application is allowed.
