Mr.A.Ganesan (in WP.Nos.4033 to 4035 of 2018) For Respondent ...
Mr.S.Soundararajan Government Advocate (in WP.Nos.4033 to 4035 of 2018) C O M M O N O R D E R In all these writ petitions, the petitioners are seeking for Mandamus directing the respondent to receive the Application Form CCPA dated 14.02.2018, 14.02.2018 and 15.02.2018 respectively with prescribed fees and grant the Maxi Cab Permit in respect of the vehicles bearing Reg.No.TN-20-BC-7601, Reg.No.TN-65-L-2967 and Reg.No.TN-02-AP-9904 respectively.
2. Mr.S.Soundararajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.
3. The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondent is not even receiving the application form for grant of Maxi Cab permit. Needless to say that it is for the respondent to consider and decide as to whether the petitioner is entitled to such permit or not and therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioners. However, as it is stated that the respondent is not even receiving the application, these writ petitions are disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to receive the application from the petitioners and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
