ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned V Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, to complete the trial within the period of three months in S.C.No.250 of 2014.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that on the basis of the complaint given by him as against the accused persons, a case was registered in Crime No.186 of 2006 and in the said case, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed and the same taken on file as S.C.No.250 of 2014 and now, the same is pending before the learned V Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai. Though the case is of the year 2014, till date, there is no progress in this case and none of the witness has been examined and the accused persons have been trying to prolong the case. Hence, the petition.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned V Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, to expedite the trial of the case in S.C.No.250 of 2014 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pending on his file and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
