Respondent(s) PRAYER; This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to release all retirement benefits inducing the contributory pension scheme accumulation and interest thereon upto the date of final authorization to the petitioner as per G.O.No.59 dated 22.2.2016 by processing the application for final settlement of contributory pension scheme account submitted by the petitioner directly on 31.10.2025 and also sent by registered post on 30.11.2025 to the 1st respondent, forthwith and also direct the respondents to release the increment, leave surrender amount etc.

ORDER
The Writ Petitions have been filed to direct the respondents to release all retirement benefits inducing the contributory pension scheme accumulation and interest thereon upto the date of final authorization to the petitioner as per G.O.No.59 dated 22.2.2016 by processing the application for final settlement of contributory pension scheme account submitted by the petitioner directly on 31.10.2025 and also sent by registered post on 30.11.2025 to the 1st respondent, forthwith and also direct the respondents to release the increment, leave surrender amount etc.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that the petitioner is working in the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation from the year 2005 and voluntarily retired from service in the year 2025. The petitioner made a representation for disbursal of retirement benefits including CPS amount as prescribed in GO. Dated 31.10.2025 and the same is not considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted
that the representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought by the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks on merits and in accordance with law from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
