For Appellant : M/s.T.Murugamanickam For Respondents : No appearance COMMON JUDGMENT The appeals are of the year 1997. The sole respondent in the appeal died on 23.08.2006 and his Legal Representatives have been brought on record by an order dated 03.07.2013. Notices sent to the Legal Representatives of the deceased sole respondent have been returned with an endorsement 'Door Closed'. The learned counsel appearing for the appellant was directed to take private notice. Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the appellant submitted that he is unable to contact the appellant also.

2.The appeals are already 20 years old. I do not see any purpose in keeping the appeals pending. Hence, the appeals are dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
