Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue the petitioner true and online certificate copy of extract from the permanent land register after deleting errors if any for S.Nos.36/3 to 36/43, Nungambakkam Village, Egmore, Nungambakkam Taluk, Chennai District as per representation given dated 13.09.2022.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue the petitioner true and online certificate copy of extract from the permanent land register after deleting errors if any for S.Nos.36/3 to 36/43, Nungambakkam Village, Egmore, Nungambakkam Taluk, Chennai District as per representation given dated 13.09.2022.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of certified copy of extract from the permanent land register for his land situated in Survey Nos.36/3 to 36/43, Nungambakkam Village, Egmore, Nungambakkam Taluk, Chennai District as claimed in his representation dated 13.09.2022.

3. Heard Mr.V.K.Vijayaragavan learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.N.Senthilselvi, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. Learned Government Advocate would submit that, the said request of the petitioner through his representation dated 13.09.2022 would be considered and necessary orders would be passed thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. 2 / 4

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein and having regard to the stand of the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. "That there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.09.2022 and pass necessary orders thereon with regard to the plea raised therein after hearing the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
