Today the matter is listed under the caption "For extension of Time". This Court on 27.06.2023 passed the following orders : " In the result, the present Writ Petition is allowed on condition to pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- [Rupees Two thousand only] to the respondent / workman within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the petitioner shall produce the acknowledgment before the Principal Labour Court, Chennai. The said Court after adhering to the principles of natural justice to both the parties shall permit the petitioner/Management to proceed with the enquiry and adduce appropriate evidence and thereafter, shall decide the matter in accordance with law without giving un-necessary adjournments on or before 15.10.2023 and the parties are directed to co-operate with the trial without seeking unnecessary adjournments. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. "

2. Now the Presiding Officer, Principal Labour Court (FAC), Chennai has sought for further time.
