ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conferencing) The Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction directing the fourth respondent Police to grant sufficient police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner.

2. There is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The petitioner had lodged two complaints before the Inspector of Police, Kallakurichi Police Station in Crime No.201 of 2015 and Crime No.268 of 2015. The Crime No.201 of 2015 was closed as mistake of fact and RCS Notice was served on 25.05.2015 in RCS No.57 of 2015. The Crime No.268 of 2015 was closed as further action dropped in RCS Notice dated 16.06.2015 with regard to the Crime No.1of 2012 which was pending before the District Crime Branch and was closed on 08.01.2013 in RCS No.12 of 2012.

4. The learned Additional Public prosecutor submitted that there are civil suits pending between the parties and further submits that there is no petition/case as on date pending.

5. In view of the same, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. s/d- Assistant Registrar True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar To 1.The Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Villupuram, Villupuram District.
