Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.01.2016 within a stipulated period and consequently direct the respondents to issue the tsunami house allotment giving first preference to the petitioner before issuing house allotment to ten thousand flood victims.

On 04.01.2016, the petitioner made a representation to the 3rd respondent stating that pursuant to the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka. NO. 04/14645/2013 dated 29.11.2013, she, being a victim of tsunami, is entitled for allotment of house. Since the said representation has not been disposed of, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Considering the above, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.01.2016, in the light of the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka. No. 04/14645/2013 dated 29.11.2013 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
